General Rates
For patients who are paying at the time of service and not using insurance, rates for a basic treatment are as follows:
*First-time basic treatment (75-80 minutes) $140
*Follow-up basic treatments (55-60 minutes) $105
*These fees reflect a time-of-service discount which is not applicable with insurance billing. They also reflect a basic level of services, to which additional services might be optimal and recommended at additional cost.
All out-of-pocket payment, copayments, or coinsurance are due at the time of treatment.
Cash, check, credit cards, and flex spending cards are accepted.
Auto Accidents
If you have been in a car accident in Oregon and your treatment is in regards to injuries sustained in that accident, you do not need a referral from another provider to get acupuncture. Your claim should cover this care 100%, provided that the accident has been within the last year and you have not exhausted the claim’s medical benefits.
Insurance
I am a preferred provider for the following insurance companies and will gladly bill them as a convenience to you if acupuncture is included in your plan.
- Any auto insurance company
- American Specialty Health (ASHN)
- Blue Cross Blue Shield
- Blue Cross Blue Shield Federal Employee
- CHP (Complementary Health Plans)
- Health Net
- Kaiser Permanente
- LifeWise
- Moda (formerly ODS)
- Optum/United Health
- Pacific Source
- Providence
- Regence Blue Cross
*I am not in-network with Cigna or Aetna. Most patients have out-of-network coverage for acupuncture with those plans and I am happy to bill those companies directly for your treatment using out-of-network coverage. Please know that in some cases you might have a separate deductible for all out-of-network care.
I will accept other insurance plans that cover acupuncture from out-of-network providers. Please know that you might have a separate deductible for all out-of-network care.
Please know that with some insurance, your deductible does not apply to acupuncture. In that case, your acupuncture will be covered right away, before your deductible is met for the year. With other insurance, your deductible will need to be met before your acupuncture coverage kicks in. In those cases, you will need to pay for your treatment until your deductible is met. Those payments will be submitted to your insurance company to be applied toward your deductible.
I do not accept Worker’s Compensation claims.
For me to verify your insurance benefits, please send me the following information at least 3 business days prior to your scheduled appointment:
